A Safer, More Resilient Sutter County – Join the Conversation

Sutter County is working hard to ensure that all our communities, both cities and rural areas, continue to receive basic, life-saving fire protection, 911 emergency medical response, and other essential safety services, no matter what happens at the State or Federal level.

However, this work is becoming more difficult. To live within our means, the County has had to make tough choices and cuts that affect the services our residents rely on. Recent actions by State and Federal governments have made one thing clear: we cannot depend on outside support to keep our communities safe — we must rely on ourselves.

As we begin planning for the 2027 County budget, we want to hear directly from you, the community we serve.

Please join the conversation and share your feedback on which services should be prioritized.
