Re-Think Your Drink
What you drink is as important as what you eat. Sugary drinks, such as soda, energy drinks, and sports drinks, are a major source of added sugars in the American diet. They often add more sugar to our diet than any other food or beverage source and have little nutritional benefit. Excessive sugar consumption is linked to various health problems like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and dental cavities.
"Re-Think Your Drink" is a campaign that encourages healthy beverage choices, focusing on reducing sugary drinks and opting for water or other nutrient-rich options. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the health risks associated with excessive sugar consumption and provide resources for making healthier beverage choices.
