About us

The Homeless Services Unit within Sutter County Public Health works with one of the most complex and vulnerable populations. The Homeless Services Unit delivers intensive case management and housing navigation services to individuals staying at the county's emergency shelter, Better Way. We also provide community outreach, collaborating closely with the Homeless Engagement and Resolution Team (HEART).
