Technical Documentation
Qualifacts APIs allow the external developer community to create applications that provide patient engagement across the Internet of Things (IoT). In accordance with BHIN 26-008 and the USCDI v3 standard, your applications will be able to make read and search requests for patient health information (specific data categories or all data) for a specific date, date range, or all data.
Our API feature provides more options for electronic health information exchange for the consumer (patient). It also serves as another option for consumers (patients), particularly those who request information through a mobile device or tablet.
Important Note for Developers:To access expanded USCDI v3 data classes (e.g., Social Determinants of Health, Insurance info), developers must update their application scope requests to use /*.rs (Read/Search) instead of the previous /*.read format.
