Better Way Emergency Shelter is committed to providing an environment that is safe, healthy, and welcoming for individuals to feel empowered to secure permanent housing. Better Way is a behavior-based program. It is a 40-bed temporary shelter that offers intensive case management and housing navigation services, as well as overall support from shelter monitors 7 days a week. Better Way prides itself on being able to resourcefully find housing for individuals at Better Way.
Better Way works with participants to secure housing while receiving supported services.

How do I get into Better Way?
A referral is needed to get into Better Way. The first step is doing a Coordinated Entry intake at Hands of Hope. Depending on vulnerability score, a referral will be sent to Better Way.
