Notifications for Local Emergencies

The Office of Emergency Management is committed to protect lives, property, and the environment.  In order to do this, we will disseminate information using the OnSolve CodeRED system.  Notifications may include but will not be limited to slow rise flood warnings, evacuation notifications, shelter-in-place notifications, and others based on the event happening or coming soon.  All jurisdictions within Sutter County utilize CodeRED for their alert and warning software.  

CodeRED Registration

When you sign up for CodeRED, we recommend setting up a managed account.  With a managed account, you can adjust your settings to receive alerts even when you are out of the area. Other benefits to a managed account include ability to update your contact information, modify addresses or phone numbers, and add additional phone numbers for others in your household to receive alerts.  Once you sign up, you can download the mobile app through your app store.  The logo looks like the image below.
